This is a project I'm giving my students in at Harlem school of the arts.
I making them do comicbook covers and album jackets. This is a example I used.
Here something to wet your whistle.

First off I've gotta say something I've noticed in just about everything you put up, Dude they're HUGE unnecesarily so. Once your pixels are in the 1000's it's really bad for the casual viewer, and everyone on dial up. It's not really "web friendly" if you get what I mean. I know the feeling that when you finish a work your really proud of with alot of small intricate details, you really want it to be the biggest baddest resolution you can lay down so everyone can see them, but oversized imagery isn't the way to go. It actually pushes people away, net public is an impatient lot and loading time is a taboo to them. Just saying, shrinking your images down to 6-800 pixels wide/ high/ etc might not be a bad idea. That said, sweet work, I recognize a few of these in the composition, like the cool egyption one from a few months back. keep at the awesome stuff man.
