A penciling I did about four months back. Once again I choose short hair and not to show the face. This time on the picture was called the descension of the cross. If you study the piece you will notice the whip marks on the body and the hole from the spear of the roman solider right under the rib cage. This was done to ensure that the victim was dead. You probably also notice that it is a true uncarved tree and a unshaved tibulus holding up his hand.

Leaves me at a loss of words. O.O

This somehow makes his suffering a lot more real than only thinking about it. Great piece both technically and ideologically (or something). I'm definitely faving.

this is fantastic, def fav! and the short hair is a truer interpretation, considering His behavior (touching the dead, drinking of wine) dont fit with the Nazarite vow.
